So many books, so little time!
This Saturday is the Autumnal Equinox (and yeah, I wish TV news people would learn how to say "Autumnal" - looking at you NY1). I'm still confused as to how it's not August and I'm not on a beach looking for dolphins (that's a NJ reference). Since I last posted, I've read a TON of great books and some not so great books and some really dire books and I hope to write about many of them here soon - at least the good ones...Meanwhile, I recently stepped back into the world of interviewing writers (I stopped after a bad experience a while back) and my interview with the affable (there's a word!) and fun-to-talk-to and super-smart Brando Skyhorse is up now at Electric Literature. It's my first time writing for them & it was a positive experience. You may see me around those parts again in 2024 - time allowing, pitches accepted, and all that. Meanwhile, here's a link to the Skyhorse interview. Read his new book "My Name is Iris." In fact, read all his books! And check out Electric Literature. They do good stuff over there.
